This is to certify all our Carpet Underlay carry a lifetime warranty (i.e. the lifetime of the carpet under which it is installed from the time carpet is installed to the time carpet is replaced). The Carpet Underlay has a minimum warranty period of 10 years. We will cover you for any faults or defects in our products during the warranty period. All warranty claims will require proof of purchase along with detailed explanation of faults or defects during the Claims process-in cases photos or site inspections will be required.

Under warranty, if fault or defects occur we will replace the product free of charge. Under this warranty, the extent of our liability comprises of replacement of the product. Warranty will be voided if “Installation and care” procedures recommended by Cloudwalk are not followed. Warranty will also be voided if our assessment leads us to believe that proper precautions were not taken whilst handling/installing the underlay.

• Cloudwalk Underlay to be store in a moisture free(dry) environment, it should be stored in an area that has no hard or sharp protrusions as it may damage the Underlay Physically.
• Cloudwalk Underlay should be installed on Flat surface which is clean and dry.
• Any subfloor protrusion should be fixed and levelled before installation using suitable fillers or sanding down surfaces.
• The underlay should be attached to the sub floor using adhesive or staples.
• Cloudwalk recommends the use of either heat bond carpet seam tape or seam sealing adhesive.
• All underlay joins should be taped with Duct tape.
• When Installing Underlay with Kraft paper such as Our Dual Bond 7mm, the kraft paper should be on the top.
• When installing Duralay, Aerolay, Regulay or toplay ensure the moisture barrier is on the top.
• The carpet should be power stretched to maintain correct tension in carpet that will prolong the life of the carpet.
• Cloudwalk Underlay is Soft foam so the risk in handling the products are minimal. But please take extra precautions whilst handling our underlay products to minimise any injury.
